Universal Trap Plate
As a curved plating option in the Gorilla® Universal Plating System, the Trap Plate was created to take
advantage of the geometric benefits of strength. A trapezoid is able to provide a very stable construct
that has an advantage in medial column procedures. With multiple sizes available, the Gorilla® Universal
Trap Plate can be used for the 1st tarsometatarsal joint, the naviculocuneiform joint, and the talonavicular
joint along the medial column, as well as in a calcaneocuboid arthrodesis.
Four sizing options give the surgeon variability in plate placement and function.
